Any advice on the below scenario will be helpful!
I have 4 tables.
Sales details
DateKey
Budget
Team list
My report is run by slicing data over different period in the year. Monthly slicer/Quarterly slicer and yearly slicer are based on te DateKey fields
These are the relationship defined below.
DateKey & Sales Details with dates dates as the connector between both table
DateKey & Budget with dates aas the connector between both table
Team List & Sales details with Team name as the connector between both table
For instance, I select 2017, my report throws me the all the details I want on my Sales details table, however, it did not show my 2017 budget figures even though I have created the link between both the table.
Am I doing it wrongly?
Below is a screenshot on my table relationships.
Any advice if I am doing it wrongly?
Thanks!!
Hi @JS,
How did you create the report? As there is a relationship between the DateKey & Budget tables, select year value from the DateKey table should be able to filter Budget tables.
If possible, you can share the .pbix file with sample data.
