Help with custom regions, please?

I can see the map works fine out of the box when using "Countries", because it already knows about countries.

Now, I would like to use these Maps for custom "Regions"

I have a table telling me which "region" a country belongs to.

How can I get the map visual to highlight by "Region" rather than Country?

Place your Country column in the Location field and the Region column in the Legend Field

That should do it!
