Help with connecting an app for Data Source

Hi all,

My company has a customised application built on which other departments feed their information. 
I am looking to connect this app directly to Power BI for ease of reporting.


kindly suggest ways to do so.

    Can you please provide further details? 

     

    1. What data sources does the application use?
    2. How often is the data in the application updated? Is the data real-time or batch updated?
    3. Are there any security or access restrictions that need to be considered when connecting to the application?
    4. What level of data granularity is required for reporting purposes?
    5. Are there any data transformations or cleaning that need to be done before the data can be visualized in Power BI?
    6. What is the volume of data that needs to be extracted from the application?
