Hi,
I need some help/idea/workaround on achieving the following -
Short Question
In bookmarks - Is it possible to eliminate any effect on a particular visualization ? or connect bookmarks based on conditions ?
Details scenario
I have Slicer1 with 2 options
a. "By Product" and
b. "By Sales"
I have another slicer2 which has options like
1. Bar Chart
2. Column Chart
3. Pie Chart
I basically have 3 charts stacked on each other and I have created 3 bookmarks where bookmark1 hides column and pie chart, bookmark2 hides bar and pie chart and bookmark3 hides Bar and column. This works fine independently as far as hiding other charts are concerned however problem is it effects the selection in Slicer1
So for eg. while creating all 3 bookmarks I had ByProduct option selected in Slicer1. Now let say I selection option "By Sales" and then click on ColumnChart it automatically (since linked to bookmark) takes me to the screen where Byproduct is selected. Is it possible the impact on the slicer1 ?
Not sure if I am able to explain this or not and following screen may help to understand this
Not sure, but my opinion is add a new bookmark with the second value selected(by sales). But you'll be having two each bookmarks for Bar chart, Stack Chart and column chart which would be confusing.
Hope for a better solution.
