I have RLS on a page with two filter, one is "Companies" and the other one is "Years"
In companies I have over 10 different companies to choose from, so in RLS I have created a filter for each companies roles that I later on Power BI Service give to right person who belong to that company so they only gonna see their data that belong to that comapny.
but the issue I just notice I get different numbers on the KPI cards when I don't have active or set "View As" for same company and only choose the company from the filter list or when I just "View as" that same comapny.
I don't know why, any idea what it could be?
Hi @selected_ ,
Here are a few suggestions to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
1.Check KPI card configuration: Ensure that the KPI cards are correctly configured to display the desired values.
2.Verify RLS filters: Review the RLS filters you have set up for each company. Make sure they are correctly applied and not conflicting with each other or other filters in your report.
3.Consider measure context: Check if there are any measures used in the KPI cards that might be affected by the RLS filters or other filters in your report. Measures can behave differently depending on the context in which they are evaluated.
And note that if a user with edit permission, the RLS won't work.
