Help with Fluent 2 Theme Update
I'm in an organization that tests and releases new Power BI updates. The March 2026 update just got pushed to my machine. I would like to try out the new Fluent 2 theme options and UI updates. I enabled the "Modern visual defaults and customizing theme improvements" preview feature and restarted my PBI Desktop client. I then went to View > Customize current theme, and there's no button there to update my theming to Fluent 2. Is there a reason why I'm not seeing it? Can I somehow force the theme update behind the scenes? I'd just like to try out all of the new UI changes and theming updates for Fluent 2.
The Fluent 2 theming improvements were featured more prominently in the April 2026 update, The button to switch between Fluent 2, Classic 2026, and Classic 2018 themes was added in April — so if you're on the March build and don't see that switcher, that's expected.
