I am able to connect to DB2 database from Power BI Desktop (SSL connection) and see the tables. But when I try to select a table I get the below error. Has anyone come across this error. Kindly help.

Hi v-cgao-msft
Thanks for your response. The issue is resolved now. I tried options suggested from various threads on connecting Power BI to DB2. The version of Power BI that I had was latest. Also, I couldn't get anywhere with the IBM documentation on the error. I even tried selecting Microsoft driver instead of IBM driver. But nothing worked for me.
Finally the resolution was to select ODBC as the data source instead of IBM database and use SSL connection in order to connect to DB2. I was able to access the DB2 tables in mainframe successfully.
Thank you.

How are you @Anonymous
I see your post was made on 12-08-23. In this version of Power Bi, was there more options on the dropdown when using ODBC? You see for me there is no such option as the SSL connection you are mentioning. Instead I get the dropdown you see in the image I have attached. I'm suppose to be connecting to the IBM Db2 database but that one is throwing me the same error as you. I'm all out of solutions at this point and cannot find anything.
If anyone sees this, how do you fix the following error when connecting to the Db2 databse:
Hi @Anonymous ,
1. Ensure that you are using the latest version of Power BI Desktop, as updates often include fixes for connectivity issues.
Download Power BI Desktop from Official Microsoft Download Center
2. Refer to the official troubleshooting documentation:
** Troubleshooting ** "SQLCODE=-204, SQLSTATE=-42704" error when using DbConv to create new database
"DB2 SQL Error: SQLCODE=-204, SQLSTATE=42704" when connecting to new Controller DB
