Help with Cohort Analysis + Customer Retention Analysis

HI Guys , 

i am very new to Power BI ,so any help or pointers are greatly appreciated ,  i am given the task to create something like a Mix of Cohort Analysis & Customer Retention Analysis In power BI .so i have a table of CustomersName , Project IDs, TransactionDate,SalesAmount,

i want to create something like , when the Customers FIrst Appear in the system i.e. BornDate , and what SalesAmount was generated (if any) of these customers  over the years , What would be the best approach to Create this in Power BI  .
