Is there any way to leverage the transform column function to apply a math operation to the feild in place. I.E. not a new column then delete the orginal then rename the new column as the old.
I have an order form coming in with line numbers that the system treats as a 3 digit line with 3 digits of sub line 001.000. but it really only stores it as 1000.
I feel like transform should be able to apply an operation to a column but just cant find the right way to do it.

I can't post company data, but pick any column with number values, ie some systems store pennies with no decimals. I would like to convert to dollars without adding a column.
