Help - creating power BI account

halo all , 

 

I am trying to create a power bi account using my office exchange email and it shows that i already have an account and is used by a different service. ( have no idea what service it is talking about)

 

When i type in the password it shows that it is incorrect , i clicked on   "cant access your account option link" , and type in my email id and the verification code , it shows "Your account is not enabled for password reset". We are sorry but your administrator has not set up your account for use with this service." If you'd like, we can contact an administrator in your organization to reset your password for you. 

 

There is no one in my office who is a power BI administrator.

    Hi Dhan,

     

    Your message shows that Microsoft acknowledges that you have a Microsoft account. Power BI itself has not been set up.

     

    Hence, your IT administrator will need to set up a Power BI instance on behalf of your organisation. He will also need to ensure that it is linked to Active Directory (ie. Emails and users directory for your organisation)

     

    Then, everyone in your organisation willl be able to log in automatically.
