Hello, good afternoon
I'm having a problem and would appreciate your help. I'm trying to make a connection to my SQL Server using Windows authentication from a virtual machine, but I'm not sure how to proceed correctly. I have set up an On-premises Data Gateway on my server to allow access to the data, as shown in the attached images. However, I don't know how to work with that connection from Power BI Desktop outside the server (on my local machine).
I tried connecting using Power BI Gateway, but I'm not sure if the setup is correct or if I need to do anything additional to work with the data from Power BI Desktop in an on-premises environment. Has anyone had a similar experience or knows what additional steps I need to take to get the connection working properly?
Thank you in advance for any suggestions or advice you can give me.
