Helper IIIHelp With Report Slicer Hiding Categories
Hi, I'm struggling to get a chart to display the way I want. I have a simple model with one table of categories and one table of category and quantity.
I want to be able to chart the qty by category and use a slicer to filter out the other categories but keep the categories on the chart (see desired result chart below)
I've tried selecting "show items with no data" on the chart. I've tried writing a meausre for the qty using caluclate and differnt ALL filters but I don't think that will work. I somehow need to show the calculated value for the selected category and 0 for the rest (rather than hiding/filtering them). Hope that makes sense!
I figured this one out. I added a new table with the categories and used that as the x axis and created a relationship with the fact table. In the chart I also set the x axis to show items with no values
