Help Please...Custom Formula for Asset Depreciation
Dear Members,
I'm a newbie to Power BI. I'm creating an Asset Depreciation report/dashboard based on a custom formula. Sample data sheet and my working PBIX file included.
Whilst I managed to get my Accumulated depreciation sorted out for current date, I had to folow a lenghty, very inefficient process. Also, I'm unable to calculate the actual Depreciation and Net Book Value for the future years. I like to display that in a waterfall chart, demonstrating how the value will reduce year on year (depending on 1st Purchase date of an asset to its life expiry). In my data set, Lifespan is based on Asset Group.
Can someone help me with this.

Community Support Team _ Eason Thank you so much for taking time to respond. I already tried this exact page. However, due to the "Custom" formula I have for Depreciation, I cannot use the standard functions provided by PowerBI. Depreciation has to be calculated using the custom formular. It is a mixture of Daily depreciation and Monthly Depreciation. Can you look at the pbix file I've provided, it will give you an idea of the struggle I face.
