Heat Map Visual Troubleshooting

Hi,

I am trying to display sales by post code in the UK but I have the following issues:

1. Some cities are showing in the USA where there are the same name as the UK

2. When I drill down to postcode no data appears

3. I can't seem to find where to change the colours for th data to be skewing

The columns are:

Customer

Sales

Postcode

City

Country

I have also already ensure the data categories are correct.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @Anonymous 

Please download this PBIX file with sample data and a map

Taking your sample data and importing to PBI, I set the City, Post Code and Country columns to the correct Data Category

Then adding a map visual I added these values

Which gave me this map

Can you please share some sample dataso Ican get an idea of how you have it set up.

The columns need to be assigned specific data categories like Place, City, Country, Post Code etc and sometimes you need to create another column with the place,post code joined together before the map recognises it properly.
