Has anyone actually used the Github data source to get data in power BI Desktop?. I noticed that it's still in the Beta stage so I do wonder how people found it. Especially with regards to refreshing datasets.

Hi @HamidBee,

In fact, this connector still under development. It may not compatible the latest version API when data source rest API changes.(these API has been integrate into the data connector and will been update when power bi desktop re-installed)

I'd like to suggest you use web connector with anonymous mode to get data from github rest api.
