Hello,
I'm facing the following situation. I have a report for which the dataset is daily refreshed. The dataset is pulling the data from a sharepoint folder and this folder receives an .xlsx file every morning with the previous day's data.
Now, despite all my efforts on requirement gathering, some key stakeholders are asking to have additional information to be included in the report. Problem is the detail they're requesting are not part of the daily data exports to the SP folder. I have access to the system which handles this export and I can certainly add the new columns going further (however I won't be able to do it for the existing dataset).
The question is how PowerBI will handle these new files and what is required from my end to make this all work with the current report?

@KGBOR , New files are in the folder, then power bi should take care if source is a folder. If the new file are at different source, you need add and configure incremental/ refresh

I'll use the very same folder for the new files as well. In this case, will PowerBI add the new columns as well to the report?
