Solution SpecialistSo data preview in HANA showed the type as a string, yet the field in the ADSO shows type CUKY.
Thinking this may be causing the issue I created a new field type CHAR 3 and mapped to the new field and it comes through.
Odd I can't use the original.
Guess I need to go create new fields in all my tables......
