Grouping values and toggling visibility of details

Hi community

I've the following challenge. I've a table which looks like this:

CustomerProduct#Products#Shop visits#Internet visitsShop salesInternet sales
122298300200

In my report I need a matrix which looks like this

   #Visits  Sales
CustomerProduct#ProductsTotal#Shop visits#Internet visitsTotalShop salesInternet sales
122100298500300200

I know it's easy to get the 2 total columns but what I need is: I'd like to toggle the visibility of the details like I can do it on row groups. I've tried it with out of the box grouping but teh result wasn't very satisfying.

Can you help me?

Thanks

Hello

I've created a hierarchy which I named "Column Group" (contains "Visits" and "Sales") and "Columns" (contains "Shop visits", "Internet visist", "Shop sales" and "internet sales"). If you put this hierarchy into columns of the matrix and you choose drilling columns you can switch show only the groups or groups and details. Unfortunatly it's not possible to have a + symbol like in a row hierarchy.

Hope that helps.

Hi Lionel Chen

Thanks for your message. Do you mean a measure group? I've tried this but I didn't managed to toggle the visibilty of the detail of this group. Did you?

Hi @Anonymous ,

This is similar to the date hierarchy.

You can manually drag and drop the fields in the ‘Field’ pane on the right.

--Hold down the left mouse button and manually drag the field.

@Anonymous , You have to do some column grouping for that.
