Grouping Icon

Hello, I have problem with grouping icon in POWER BI desktop. When I create new group, the icon next to the new group is not a group icon. instead it's a table or column icon. I am sure in functioan...

Anonymous not sure wht you mean? I asked you to share your powerbi file so that I can take a look and help.

Anonymous can you list down step by step how you are doing it? If possible share screen shot.

    parry2k 

    I so the following:

    1-I right click on column I want to make group based on it

    2- choose NewGroup

    3- Chooses list from "list"  or "bin" section

    4-define the ranges and give name to each group like under 1000, between 1000 to 2000, above 2000,etc.

    5. give a name to this new group

    6. click ok to make sure it is error free and then I see it created under the table.
