Group dates by season

Hi, I'm working on a final report on football players.

I know it's something very basic, but I can't remember the steps to follow to group dating according to the period we want.

My intention is to group dates, for example, from August 28, 2021 to May 5, 2022 and call it "Season 2021-2022"

I attach two images to make it clearer.

    you need to create a small table (season name, season start date, season end date) and on the basis of this table you need to group your table

    or create a conditional column

    Share some data to work with (in a format the can be pasted in an MS Excel file) and show the expected result.

      according to your table write which seasons you should get and write which period for each

    For example:

    -Season 2022_2023 - From 28-08-2022 to 24-04-2023

    -Season 2021_2022 - From 28-08-2021 to 28-05-2022

    -Season 2020_2021 - From 18/10/2020 to 09-05-2021
