Group columns by values in a matrix

Hello,

I have been trying to find a solution to this for a long time.

Is there any way to be able to sort the columns inside a matrix? In some cases, when using dates as columns, I would like to be able to group the data by value type instead of having the different values mixed within each day.

I attach an image to make it much clearer.

Is there any way to do that easily?

Thank you very much

Hi @Biome

For Sort Column
Yes please create a column for sort https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/desktop-sort-by-column?tabs=powerbi-deskto...

In matrix visual, there are drill down button. Please use the drill down button to group

Hello @PijushRoy thank for your reply.

I can't see that option when selecting the matrix. Maybe I should enable it first somehow?

Thanks

Hi @Biome

Can you please share a screenshot for which fields you enter in matrix Row, Column and Value

Hello @PijushRoy

That's not exactly what I need.
I just want to sort value columns like in my example.
I want to have conversion columns toguether and the same for spend.
Splitting them by date but not alternating conversion-spend-conversion-spend, etc
