Group columns by values in a matrix

Hello, I have been trying to find a solution to this for a long time. Is there any way to be able to sort the columns inside a matrix? In some cases, when using dates as columns, I would like to be...

Hi Biome 

For Sort Column
Yes please create a column for sort https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/desktop-sort-by-column?tabs=powerbi-desktop

 

In matrix visual, there are drill down button. Please use the drill down button to group

    I can't see that option when selecting the matrix. Maybe I should enable it first somehow?
