Graph showing accumulated value

Hi, 

 

I am creating a line graph for 4 units (see pricture). However, at one point as shown in the picture the values are accumulated and

creates a deviation from the data. 

 

Please help me figure out why this is happening. As you can see in this picture, The graph does represent the data in the 'edit queries' but not in the 'see data' tab when viewing the dat from the graph.

    Make sure none of your values are set to SUM when adding values to the graph.  Beyond that, you may need to post some sample data or the raw input so we can duplciate the issue to help you further... FOrrest

      Hi Freddus

       

      Without seeing the column you are using for your X-Axis, it appears you have multiple rows for the same value, hence the jump.

       

      As fhill hinted, make sure the default summarisation is set to 'do not sum' as one approach.

    Hi Freddus,

     

    According to your description, Axis, Legend and Values property of the line chart have separate column field. Right?

     

    If that is a case, which kind of aggregate function specify for the column [AVERAGE FULL SPEED OVER GROUND LAST 24 HOURS] in Values property.  Can you share a screenshot like below?

     

     

    One possible cause can be that there are more than one records when Day is 5 (6) and Ship Name is "FAIRCHEM COLT". So please go through the table data which used by the line chart to see if there are any duplicate rows. If possible, would you please share .pbix file for our analysis.
