Graph needs in qaurter for 4 years

HI,

I have a data which starts from 2015 till 2018, where i am trying to make a line chart showing trend from 2015 to 2018.

But we need this line chart on quarter basis, so we should have 16 quarters in graph, but i am not sure how to show it.

Please assist on the same.

Thanks

    Hi Vashisht106,

Based on my test, you can refer to below steps:

1.I have entered some sample data to test your problem in below picture.

2.Turn on the Show dates as a hierarchy feature, it may require restarting Power BI desktop. Create a Line chart visual and add the [Year], [Quarter], and [Random] fields. Modify the X-Axis type from the “Continuous” to “Categorical”. Now you can see the result.

You can also download the PBIX file to have a view.

        Hi Vashisht106,

To find the cause as soon as possible, I would suggest you share pbix file if possible. If the report does contain sensitive data, please upload your report to your OneDrive and send the link to me via private message.

        Regards,
