Grand Total still showing when group is collapsed

I've googled a bunch and couldn't find any answers soooo I'll try here 🙂

So, I have a Matrix of all the service desk tickets, grouped by "Group", with seperate rows under each group with the row keyed by Creation Date:

The result is this:

When the Group is EXPANDED, the subtotals for that group disappear as demonstrated by the expanded "Not Assigned" group, with the lack of subtotals circled in red.

The other 3 COLLAPSED groups however are attempting to show me "subtotals" even though I have the Sub-Totals option turn off, as you can see on the right side. (and yes, I tried turning them on, and then selecting "Per Row Level" and then turning off the subtotals for both of my Rows fields; no luck, they still show when collapsed)

So how do I get rid of subtotals on collapsed groups? I've already got it turned off, so not sure why they're showing up.

I'm using Power BI Desktop: Version: 2.86.902.0 64-bit (October 2020)

I tried changing the font color on subtotals to WHITE on WHITE background, but it still shows up when the row is grey (since the matrix alternates from white to grey background).

Basically I was trying to emulate another report we have thru the Service Desk ticketing system that looks like this:

See how it groups the tickets by "Not Assigned" and then "Development and Analysis" groups? I was trying to get the Matrix to do something like that. Maybe I am not using the matrix as it was intended to be used? Any ideas would be helpful, thanks 🙂

(sensitive information blacked-out by me, fyi)

@feelie75 , not very clear. But you have to use isinscope : https://www.kasperonbi.com/use-isinscope-to-get-the-right-hierarchy-level-in-dax/
