**Google Drive to PowerBi**
Hello team,
I have seen many options in the older PowerBi versions of how to connect Google Drive to PowerBi but PowerBi changes each month and old tutorials will not work right now in 2020 with Version 2.76.5678.782 64-bit
¿Is there a workaround/patch/fix to can link an Excel file from Google Drive to PowerBi? also keeping the synchronization when refreshing.
Thank you

Hi Cromero3000 ,
The excel file in Google Drive should be shared publicly for Power BI to be able to connect to it. If the data is confidential, you can use Data.world to sync with Google and then use the Data.World connector. You will have to set the scheduled data refresh right after syc is complete.
There are also third party-services (zapier, multcloud) that sync files between Googld and One Drive. Once synched, you can use the sharepoint connector to pull data.

Hello danextian ,
Yes, it is public to Web, even with edit permissions. In fact Power Bi recognizes the link as a table but it never loads all the content, it just keeps loading and loading, and at the end it gives an error as shown below:
Regarding the third-party services, thank you for the suggestion, I will need to test it out. The thing about loading the files in Google Drive is so for everyone has access to modify the files instead of a corporate account so, I was trying to avoid paid apps or other apps but, I'll test what you mentioned before.
Thank you

Hello Cromero3000,
Have you made the shared link of the file as 'Public on the Web'?- Cromero3000Helper I
