Good visualization for comparison of milestone dates

Need a good way to compare key clinical trial milestone dates.  Comparison would be actual dates against plan or against forecast.  There are approximately 12 key milestone dates in a clinical trial that need comparisons

Many thanks for answering. Don't think that this is going to do it as I need to compare just the milestone dates across many different scenarios - Original Plan, Latest Plan, Actual, Forecast etc.  The clinical trials span many years.

Are you trying to show multiple clinical trials in the visual at the same time? Also, do you want to display all of the different dates and how they relate to the actuals or are you just trying to compare 2 selected dates at a time? i.e Actual vs Forecast; Actual vs Original Plan; Original Plan vs Latest plan. Depending on exactly what you want to do and how much information needs to be visible at once would help to determine what kind of visual would work well.

Just for a single trial and how the dates have changed.  Date comparison could be up to 4 different dates - Original Plan, Current Plan, Current forecast & Actual.  Note that the current forecast could be a combination of actual dates plus forecasted future dates
