Global Slicer for Power BI Report

Dear All,

  • I am insfant to power bi and came accros to requriment where we are moving all the tableau reports to power Bi.
  • As per current requirment I need to have slicer globally in the power bi report so that user can apply same filter to different pages , Also same slicer functionality can be re-used which also helps in performance

Hi @infantpowerbi ,

 

There isn't a global slicer in Power BI, a slicer only works on one page. You can copy it and paste it on each page.

You can also use page filter in the filter pane, it works on each page.

Copy the slicer and then paste it on the next page.  Works the same.
