Global Benchmark while using RLS

I'm not sure this is something that is possible but I am seeing mixed responses on forums so far so thought I should ask myself here.

I am trying to create a summary table that calculates medians over a number of different groups, so that these can be used as a benchmark figure, while RLS is switched on.

The idea is so that clients, within their respective RLS roles, can compare their median figure with a global median figure for certain key KPIs.

However, there are a number of slicers that would be able to break down their views further, such as country, category etc.

Is there a way to enable the summarized figures to be filtered through these slicers also? If not would it be possible to do it from a measure that would yield the same results? So far the closest thing I have found is to make a measure with filters enabled ta,king the median of these medians, but of course these figures aren't ideal and the deeper the granularity goes, the further these KPIs are likely to be from the true values.

I have been stuck on this for a while and would appreciate any help in the right direction.

Hi All,

Been stuck on this for more than a week now. Would be great if someone could help.

I need to be able to show the global median of some KPIs, while RLS is switched on, so each client can see a benchmark to compare their data to. I have tried a summarized column and also static column, using data entry for the aggregations but of course neither of these work as they cannot be filtered by the slicers on the report, which I also need to work.

Really struggling to believe there isn't a solution for this. If there is it's not intuitive- if someone could point in right direction that would be great.

In order to provide you a suitable solution, could you please share some sample data in your tables (exclude sensitive data) with Text format and your expected result with backend logic and special example screenshots? It is better if you can share a simplified pbix file. Thank you.
