Hi Anonymous 

yes. it will give you the value by applying ALLEXCEPT(). 

can you pls show case by taking normal table and add all the product columns and targetmoney_base and check share screenshot what value do you need against which product value.???

 

You can do the same thing in excel just random data with all level of hierarchy and show wht data you want to show again each category.

 

share input and expected output..

    Example: I have a table with opportunityProduct and have the A_productfamily, B_productfamily,C_productfamily& D_productfamily as categories and i want to map all the above categories files to my Target value. to get the right values for each product family i tried with All EXCEPT function, which is not working in my DAX logix.

     

    Please suggest. 

     

    Note: Target value is a measure from a goal table which is not have an direct relationship with OpportunityProduct table.

      Hi Anonymous ,

      Does the goal table have a field corresponding to “A_productfamily”, “B_productfamily”, “C_productfamily ” & ‘D_productfamily’?

       

      If so, try something like this.

      Target_V =
CALCULATE (
    SUM ( 'goal'[targetmoney_base] ),
    'goal'[productfamilyfield]
        = SELECTEDVALUE ( 'opportunityproduct'[productfamilylevelaname] )
)
