Getting error while saving the PowerBI file in Desktop

Hi Team,

We are facing issues in saving the PowerBI file after development. Following are the errors we are facing.

We are using 7 GB RAM & temp files are cleared all time:

1) Memory error: Memory Allocation Failure

2) Cannot Invoke on Cef webrowser in its current state.

3) We weren't able to restore the save database to mode

Hi @amitbhagat5522,

According to the error message, you'd better increase the amount of memory available on the machine in this scenario. For one way, you can try to optimize your data model in a way that makes a better use the available memory. For more details, you can refer to this article(though the article is about PowerPivot, it should be similar with Power BI).Smiley Happy

For another thing, if you upload the data in import model, please disable "Allow data preview to download in the background" from options / options and settings/data load. And check if it is useful.

In addition, what's your data resource? Sometime it's related to your data source, for example getting data from SSAS, please review this blog and this similar thread for reference.

Best Regards,
Angelia
