Getting error while embedding the paginated report in Power BI desktop

Hi,

I need a help here.

I have created a paginated report in Power BI report builder.

There are five parameters in the report - "Origin Company", "Origin Terminal", Start Execution Date, End Execution date, Import/Export.

Start Execution date and End Execution date is nothing but start date and end date.

When I am trying to embed this report in the power bi desktop, getting parameter related error for start date and end date parameter. Below are the error screenshot.

Could you please help ?

Hi @somechat1

Not sure I have the answer here but firstly check the data types of the dates in the rdl file and in the PBIX. Then see if the date slicers in the PBIX are sync'd into the Pag report viewer page.

I've faffed wiht this issue too and sometimes ended up giving up trying to link the pag report to the PBIX, just letting the user re-enter the prompts. Not ideal but it works.

Did I answer your question? Mark my post as a solution! Appreciate your Kudos !! Happy to help!!
