Getting error: An Argument of Function Date has wrong data type or result is too small or too large

Hi All,

I need your expert help in identifying the issue with my DAX setup for identifying Product Volume Share for Previous Year YTD.

Fiscal Year is from October to September

My DAX Formulae -

Volume Share_PYTD =
Var _max1 = maxx(ALLSELECTED('Sales'),'Sales'[Date])
var _max = DATE(YEAR(_max1)-1,MONTH(_max1),DAY(_max1))
return Calculate(sum('Sales'[Volume])/calculate(SUM('Sales'[Volume]),ALL(Products[Product])),filter(dimtime,dimTime[PY] = 1 && dimTime[date] <=_max))

There is a Market Tier Slicer in my report which contains dropdown values like 'Tier 1' and 'Tier 2'
when I am selecting 'Tier 1' it is working fine but when I select 'Tier 2' in the slicer I get this error 'An Argument of Function Date has wrong data type or result is too small or too large' for this Dax measure.

Could someone please help me identify what is wrong with this formula?

Hi, @Anonymous

Can you provide sample data for testing? Sensitive information can be removed in advance. What kind of expected results do you expect? You can also show it with pictures or Excel. I look forward to your response.
