Getting date from excel - table name is duplicated

Hi

I want to Get data from excel file. When I click on Get-->Excel--> then open excel file, I see the table name is duplicated in the Navigator,  like the following:

>MyTable

>MyTable1

Why is that? I checked excel and it has only 1 table called MyTable. There is not MyTable1

Thank you very much.

Please check if you are using the Format as table, in this case the table name will duplicated in the navigator, even if the content of the two tables is the same.

Thanks for your reply. No the sheet name is different but the table name got duplicated and yes sometime the sheet name got duplcated too for example MySheet, and then MySheet1.

I have feeling that Power BI remember I opened that file once. I closed Power BI and re-opened it and then Get data but again table were duplicated. Thank you very much.
