Get waterfall based on date slicer selected
I have a report where the end user is going to select a "Month Year" slicer and I want a waterfall chart to filter based on this selected year and then show last year (same time period). For example - if the user selects "January 2023" I want the waterfall chart to show LY (January 2022) and this year ( January 2023) and then whatever breakdown I chose. I also want this to work if I select multiple months, so if I pick January-February 2023 then I want the waterfall to show January-February 2022. Not really sure where to even start with this request so any help is appreciated.

jmazzola31 , In case you have date in you table join it with date of your table and try
YTD Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESYTD('Date'[Date],"12/31"))
Last YTD Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESYTD(dateadd('Date'[Date],-1,Year),"12/31"))Power BI — Year on Year with or Without Time Intelligence

To get the best of the time intelligence function. Make sure you have a date calendar and it has been marked as the date in model view. Also, join it with the date column of your fact/s. Refer :radacad sqlbi My Video Series Appreciate your Kudos.
