For anyone interested I have written a couple of integrations using Microsoft Excel as the Middleware. Works great.
I am a consultant specialising in ERP systems for retailers/wholesales, but really can be any type of database.
I work with multiple CIN7 clients along with some other prominent higher end systems.
In regard to what I have done with CIN7, I have developed some advanced tools and integrations for my clients based on the CIN7 API.
The tool I have developed is based on ELT (Extract-Load-Transform).
Solutions I can provide;
- Advanced Excel/database users – I provide the API extraction template (In Excel), they then take that and develop it as they require for many different tasks.
- Average Skilled Excel user (Comfortable with basic excel operations like pivot tables, ranges, vlookup) – I can normalise and refine the data in the framework to suit what you do.
- Application – Develop end to end automated solutions (Usually in Excel) which bust complex and time-consuming business processes.
- Integration – ELT data into other systems (IE to website, sales tool, BI Tool)
