Get rid of the day name

Hi all

I'm new on PowerBI and I'm struggling on a problem which must be easy to solve. I want a new format to show a date. It is correct formated in the modell but it shows the full date... 

I want it like dd.mm.yy

Any idea how to solve that?

try to add a column in the datetable like:

Date = FORMAT([Datum], "dd.mm.yy")

Thank you for your suggestion. I just found a way. That solved my problem.
