Get measured value at a given time

Hello,
Many thanks for your help.
I managed to find the solution by creating a date table in power M using the following tutorial
Then, I added my table and created a custom column that check for each date if the record is for sale or not.

To which date column am I supposed to link the Date table? I can't see how this can work
To be clearer : I have an "Opened Date" and a "Closed date" column. I want to know the number of records opened at a given time, preferably with a monthly increment.
