Get first index value of SELECTEDVALUE array on slicer

Hi, I am currently wondering how I can get the first value in an array when I select filter.

YEARS: 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019

Selected: 2018, 2019

Selected is formed as an array when displayed in a card, i.e., 2018, 2019

Now, what I want is to get the first one in the array so I can use it on other calculations.

Kindly comment out should you need more info and if this question is still vague.

Thank you so much!

@jlagman I hope this measure helps

First Selected Year =
CALCULATE (
MIN ( Table[Year] ),
ALLSELECTED ()
)

@parry2k

Awesome, thank you! It's what I need exactly.

Additional, so if I am going to have it like this but I want to have "default year if none selected",

is the below solution best in its form?

First Selected Year =
   IF(
      ISFILTERED(years[year]),
      CALCULATE (
         MIN ( years[year] ),
         ALLSELECTED ()
      ),
      YEAR( TODAY() )
   )

Looks good.
