Get data in Power BI Desktop from an Excel file stored in a SQL binary column

Hi,

I use data from an Oracle database get with a JDBC connection.

One of the column of the data set is a binary and contain an xls file. Is ther a way to get the xls file and use it in Power BI ?

No, it's not possible. Power BI Desktop retrieve data with M query. There's no Binary function which can extract the context from the file stored in a binary column. I suggest you get data from folder, please refer to articles below:
