Get data from one table to appear in another, when values have the same name

Hi, I'm fairly new to Dax and Power Query (started yesterday) and have been thrown in the deep end a little. Wondering if anyone can help?

I have two different data files uploaded into the same report. File 1 is called Place Allocations, File 2 is called Names. In Place Allocations I have a pre existing table and report that gives me a load of info about each location listed in it. In Names, I have a list that includes identical location value text strings to Place Allocations but with them appearing a different number of times. I want to count how often each location value appears in Names and then display that data next to the relevent location in the Place Allocations report.

How would I do this?

Much Appreciated
