Get data from a server based in a certain criteria

Good morning all,

I am trying to get data from a server and there is a field that has thousands of different categories but I just want to “download”  a list of them. In those cases that I’ve just wanted a couple of them, I’ve filtered manually, although now I want a significant amount of those categories.

Can I get those fields based on a list in a excel file for example? I think that is something related with managing paramaters but right now I am not being successful.

Anyone has a recommendation?
