Get data from a onedrive link

Here we go, I have a one-drive link, not protected by a password and easily accessible from any browser. Here is the link, nothing is confidential!

In Power Bi desktop (query or desktop mode) I choose 'Web' and I flick the URL above and choose no user name/password. I also choose the full address to be accessed. However, this is what I ended up with each time...a web view from which I am not able to read the data. Table View is empty as you are seeing...

Any idea why it is really hard to read an online excel file? Are you able to read this excel file and import in Power Bi?

Appreciate your time...

Don't @Alirezam,

You can see the Use OneDrive for Business links in Power BI Desktop, which might be useful for resolving the issue.

I can't provide you with a screenshot of the connection successfully to your one-drive link because I don't have edit permission for the link you provided, which means I can't get the route.

This is an example of mine.

1.Select an Excel file and open it in the application.

2.Select Copy path to clipboard.

3.In Power BI Desktop, select Get data from the web and paste the path, move the ?web-1 string to the end of the link so that Power BI Desktop can successfully navigate to the file, and then select OK.

4.If Power BI Desktop prompts you for credentials, choose Windows (for on-premises SharePoint sites) or Organizational Account (for Microsoft 365 or OneDrive for Business sites).

5.Finally, the connection is succumbed.

Who put "Solved" to this post? the question was how to read the table (onedrive link) not how to view it! Of course I ws able to view the data but cannot import it. Also openning the file with Excel have also the same issue, you would create a link that is not working in Power bi. The question is: Can you import these data in Power Bi?

Excellent answer. Thank you.

Thanks but this is not my answer. you are showing a different file and data. I want to see my data in your power bi. I keep receiving a message from Power Bi about "access is forbidden..." or "edit credentials' which does not make sense to me.

@Alirezam , There is a small change in the URL need for one drive link. Not sure that will apply here. But check this https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/desktop-use-onedrive-business-links

@Alirezam

Try creating a table from your data in the sheet, then reload in Web connector.

What you mean by a 'sheet'. My question is if you are able to see the data on my link, why no body could grab them into Power Bi?!

Well as I said the link I sent does not have any credentials and the table must be visible to all. Can anyone open that table in Power Bi and access to the data? then I can believe these solutions work because in practice I still get the same errors. Thanks
