Get data from a URL but failed in Power BI
Hi, I can use a URL link by clicking it then automatically download an excel file into my download folder locally. But when i use this link to get data with Web in Power BI, it directs me to a HTM...

With this URL, are yuo already logged in to the site in your browser? Which is why it's not prompting you to login.
Try accessing the URL from an incognito browser session. Does it ask you to login?
If so you could use Power Automate to open the site, login and get the file.

Thank you Phil. Unfortunately, no matter what i log in or not, i can only get the 3 tables and can't move to next step. The link is a http://www-fdydb.corp.xxxx.com/appdatabase/download_all_excel.cfm so looks CFM is a special link w/o Power BI integration.
