Get data Option greyed out in Power BI Desktop

Hello,

I have a composite model (This contains direct query to a semantic model + Dataflows). This composite Model is saved in "My Workspace". 

I am trying to build a new report with a live connection to this composite model saved in MyWorkspace. However, all the get data options are greyed out. Is this because it is connected live to another composite model described above?

I know this is a weird way to go about building out a report but I want to understand the limitations.

@daxreport , You can add additional data to the live connection. You have converted it into a direct query, the option to switch model type is available under the modeling tab
