Get Date from Measure

Hi,

 

I've created a measure that calculates % of certain selling price. I want to create another column that stores the date/time when the % is calculated.

 

can anyone help me on this?

Hi @Anonymous ,

 

Did you have date column in your data  table? If so, grag the date column to the visual to work on it.

I know how to make that chart, but the problem is that i dont have the date. I need to get the date and store it when the measure updates.

The information you have provided is not making the problem clear to me. Can you please explain with an example. If possible please share a sample pbix file after removing sensitive information.

Thank you for your reply @amitchandak . I've created a measure that calculates % of certain selling prices, I wish to create a line chart with that % and with dates. 

 

Y Axis with %

X Axis with dates

In case you have a date in your table you can drag the date on x-axis, It might create a date Hierarchy. Check the visualization pane. Now right click on that or press down icon and choose the date. It should use the date.

 

I am not sure what is the issue you are facing.
