Hi Everyone,
I am currently using Microsoft Excel. When trying to Get Data from Power Platform -> Power BI I get the following error.

Signin unsuccessful - general error
Time: Fri, 28 Jun 2024 12:30:37 GMT
Version: 1.273.0

The OS is Windows 11.
I tried the following troubleshooting steps.
1. I signed out and signed back in on both power BI and excel and the error still persist.
2. Control Panel > Credential Manager > Windows Credentials -> I checked, and Power BI or Excel is not there to clear.
3. I checked Power BI dataset permissions it redirected me to Microsoft Fabric Free which is not available for my account.
Any advice?

Hi @NealQu ,
1.Please make sure that the account used to log in to Excel is the same as the account used to log in to Power BI Service.
2.Check your license
Power BI semantic model experience in Excel - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
3.The organization’s tenant admin must enable the “Users can work with Power BI semantic models in Excel using a live connection” setting.
