Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone here has tried to map information for deeper administrative levels than countries with the Esri Visual in pBI.
I'm trying to visualize some data for diferent regions in europe, but ISO 3166-2 codes aren't giving me anything useful. Region name also produces erratic results. Any clues? I'm really at a loss here, and can't fins anywhere in the net where they specify which standard to use.
Any help will be very much appreciated!
Hi @cesc08,
After research, I am unable to reproduce your scenario, what your resource data looks like? Could you please share more details for further analysis.

Hi Angelina,
Thank you for your efforts.
For my scenario I imported the ISO 3166-2 codes for Spain's political subdivisions into PowerBI from wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_3166-2:ES). Afterwards I simply tried mapping the codes to State/Province or County and plotting them into the maps, where I got the issue I was mentioning. As an example ES-AR was plotted in the Netherlands...
Thanks again for your help!

Hi @cesc08,
You use the [code] column in Provinces[edit] table? And where field you put?
Best Regards,
Angelia
Hi @v-huizhn-msft,
Yes, I used the [Code] column, and tried both tables --Provinces and Autonomous Communities--. I placed the [Code] into the Location field of the ESRI visualization. I also tried using the [Subdivision Name] column, but also delivered poor results.
Thanks again!
