Hi
I have many CSV files with the same number of columns and names. Each CSV is a vulnerability assessment report. Each file has 13 columns showing item like this:
| Vulnerability | Host | ||||||||
| 11153 | None | x.4.28.130 | tcp | 80 | Service Detection (HELP Request) | The remote service could be identified. | It was possible to identify the remote service by its banner or by looking at the error message it sends when it receives a 'HELP' request. |
This file does not have a date or year column. I guess I would need to add that during exporting this file.
What I want to do is to export all the CSV files into Power BI and the chart I want to see is a chart with horizontal axis showing Year and vertical axis showing the number of vulnerabilities each host has over the years or the number of hosts having the same vulnerability over the years. I have tried exporting a few CSV files to Power BI but I could not figure out how to add the Year on horizontal axis and how to combine all of them to see the trends.
Any help is really appreciated.
Thanks.
Hi @tellme ,
From your description, how could you want to add the year, I could find no relationship with your data and your year, could you please offer more information and post your desired result if possible?

Thank you for replying.
Yes, my CSV files do not have any Year data but each file entries have the same date/Year. My qestions are:
1. Is it possible to associate the file with a date manually during creation of a chart? If not, is the only way to add year column and the year value in the CSV file before exporting? For any file its Year is all the same for all its entries.
2. In each file there are hundreds of vulnerabilties and hosts. First I want to combine all the files in Power BI and then create charts similar to the one shown below. How to do this?
