General question about filtering with slicers

I have three slicers 1. Year 2. Month 3. Day   I also have a matrix which displays some information. What I want to achieve to display on that Matrix is to actually show the values up to the Day...

    HI iioannou,

     

    You can click on 'down arrow' icon to show other filter mode.('before' option means 'less than or equal to')

     

    #2, if you use second suggestion, for this scenario, you not need to use slicer to filter, it only used to find out the selected value, it should same as 'what if' parameter.

1. Can you please explain more on how to create single slicer with 'less than or equal to' mode ?

 

2. For the second option, if I do that will I be able to use the slicer to filter the date ?
